• Accurately entering new patient, insurance, and discharge information
• Sending out bills, posting Medicaid and Medicare remittances, entering diagnoses as received from client, and posting ancillary billing services
• Following-up on unpaid claims to ensure proper financial reimbursement from insurance companies
• Obtaining, updating, and tracking insurance authorizations for patients
• Coordinating long-term care with social workers

• Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to adjust the message to fit the audience
• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• MatrixCare experience preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite
• Engage with a wide base of clients across the organization
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects
• Quality requires employees working from home, or otherwise remote, maintain broadband internet access at the address where remote work is being performed. Quality will require a valid speed test report. If you are unable to meet these requirements, please discuss with your recruiter.

The compensation range for this position is $25 - $30 per hour. Compensation for this role is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. The expected range for this position reflects these considerations and may vary accordingly.
