Thisis a full-time, exempt position reporting to our Senior Director of Operations.

What you'll do

  • Captivating, positive, and high-quality client communication.
  • Identifying areas of improvement to documentation, workflow, and Revenue Cycle Management process by taking initiative and utilizing effective problem-solving skills.
  • Communication to clients areas for improvement (i.e. coding, modifier usage, workflow optimization, new lines of revenue, etc.).
  • Supervising a multi-disciplinary team of people (on-shore and off-shore) responsible for all aspects of Revenue Cycle Management including but not limited to charge, payment posing, A/R follow-up, denials, rejections, and appealed claims.
  • Analyzing trends through software reporting and expert usage of Excel to isolate problematic billing issues requiring improvement.
  • Oversee billing supervisors and representatives as required. Coach and develop this staff.
  • Review and assess quality trends of staff performance.
  • Actively engage with client stakeholders on process improvement and industry news.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with clients.
  • Present reports to the leadership team informing them of any necessary staffing changes.
  • Manage and oversee practice key performance indicators (KPIs). Communicate client’s RCM health status.
  • Other tasks and projects as required and assigned.

What we're looking for

  • Qualified candidates will have five years' experience in revenue cycle management experience.
  • Experience and background in Physician Professional Billing.
  • Candidates must have experience in supervising staff and overseeing workflow functions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel are required.
  • Some limited travel may be required.
  • Qualified candidates must have a professional working environment in their home including phone and internet access.
  • Multi-specialty experience in billing. Knowledge and familiarity with ProFee coding for ambulatory care practices.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds at times.

The salary range for this position is: $60,000 - $80,000. Compensation for this role is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. The expected salary range for this position reflects these considerations and may vary accordingly. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may have the opportunity to participate in company bonus programs.
