Become an Assembler! We are looking for an Orthopedic and Physical Therapy Revenue Cycle Account Manager to join our Physician RCM division at Assembly Health. This role focuses on managing onshore accounts, resolving escalations, and addressing denials requiring attention. You will collaborate closely with our offshore team and act as the primary liaison with clients.

This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to our Senior Physician RCM Leadership Team.

What you'll do

  • Oversee onshore account processes, including managing escalation logs and resolving denials.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Assembly Health and the client, ensuring streamlined communication and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with the offshore team to ensure seamless Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations.
  • Generate and analyze comprehensive reports utilizing Athena One and ModMed (Modernizing Medicine) platforms.
  • Manage the pre-authorization process, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Provide expert communication and resolution support to clients and the offshore team.
  • Conduct monthly client meetings to review KPIs and set actionable goals.
  • Identify potential areas of revenue leakage and implement strategies to mitigate future losses.
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned to support evolving business needs.

What we're looking for

  • 5–10 years of experience in orthopedic and physical therapy Revenue Cycle Management.
  • Proficiency in Athena One, with the ability to generate and interpret detailed reports.
  • Expertise in ModMed (Modernizing Medicine), including advanced reporting capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the pre-authorization process.
  • CPC, COSC, or CASCC certification (preferred but not required).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive experience in orthopedic denial management, including securing retro-authorizations.
  • Practice management experience is a plus.
  • Some limited travel may be required.
  • Qualified candidates must have a professional working environment in their home including phone and internet access.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds at times.
