Become an Assembler! We are looking for a Nurse Consultant to join our SNF Clinical Services division. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to our Consulting Department Manager.

What you'll do

  • Provide consulting service delivery to our clients nationwide. Manage assigned client facilities in both service delivery and cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure timely delivery of consulting visits according to our contractual obligations. Ensure assigned profit and loss goals are met.
  • Submit internal reports/calendars per company guidelines. Submit client reports after completion of customer site visit per company guidelines.
  • Maintain effective and timely communication with leadership about customer issues.
  • Participate in team meetings, committees, and/or on conference calls.
  • Remain current on issues and regulations that affect the industry and long-term care field.
  • Always protect the confidentiality of residents and facility information.
  • Perform Clinical Compliance audits, and other clinically focused consulting.
  • Own other tasks and projects as required and assigned.

What we're looking for

  • Active Registered Nurse License and RAC-CT certification required.
  • Five years of experience in long-term care required. Clinical assessment skills at the level necessary to meet the job requirements.
  • Previous experience as a state surveyor, nurse consultant, or healthcare consultant preferred.
  • Superior written and verbal skills with the ability to adjust the message to fit the audience. Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Consultant must be willing to travel. Some assigned work is performed remotely.  Must have a credit card for traveling purposes.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Video Conferencing)
  • Engage with a wide base of clients across the organization. Collaborate with interdepartmental team members to complete projects.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement for skilled nursing facilities.
  • Adaptable to change and willingness to learn different processes.
  • The company requires employees when working from home, or otherwise remote, to maintain broadband internet access at the address where remote work is being performed.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds at times.
