Become an Assembler! We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Operations Junior Analyst to join our growing analytics team at Assembly Health. Our Business Operations Junior Analyst will develop and maintain scheduled reporting to track key performance indicators and collaborate closely with account managers to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Strong analytical skills and a passion for improving healthcare operations are essential for success in this position.

This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Director of Analytics.

What you'll do

  • Work closely with account managers to understand client needs and provide data-driven solutions in a timely manner based on stakeholder expectations.
  • Empower account managers to understand data tools enabling self-serving analytics and more accurate timelines of delivery.
  • Collaborate directly with key stakeholders to understand and document their business needs, requirements, and data environment.
  • Design and implement weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and data templates for our clients, working closely, sometimes in person, with clients.
  • Extract data from client source systems by following requirements gathered in the documentation stage.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to the revenue cycle of ambulatory healthcare practices.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures.
  • Develop clear and concise analytical scenarios, transforming them into well-structured presentations and executive summaries. Present findings and insights to non-analytical stakeholders in a comprehensible manner.
  • Leverage mainstream healthcare billing software systems to extract, clean, and manage data.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
  • Ownership of other tasks and projects.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and Excel.
  • Strong experience in building and managing semantic models.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to manage critical deadlines with a self-motivated attitude and ability to multi-task.
  • Must be resourceful, persistent, and an excellent problem solver
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds at times.
