CHICAGO, August 28, 2026 – Assembly Health, a leading provider of tech-enabled revenue cycle management services serving more than 5,000 providers across 59 specialties in 48 states, today announced the promotion of Zach Stephenson to Vice President of Finance.
Since joining Assembly Health in 2025, Stephenson has played a key role in strengthening the company’s financial planning and analysis capabilities. He leads the company’s budgeting and forecasting processes, has strengthened deal modeling and pricing and developed reporting that gives leaders greater visibility into performance and profitability.
“Zach has earned the trust and respect of leaders across Assembly through his financial expertise, strong judgment and collaborative approach,” said Michael Murphy, Chief Financial Officer of Assembly Health. “He has strengthened how we plan, evaluate performance and make financial decisions, and this promotion is a natural next step as he takes on greater responsibility within our finance organization.”
As Vice President of Finance, Stephenson will lead financial planning and analysis initiatives that support Assembly Health’s growth strategy, with a focus on forecasting, budgeting, pricing, profitability and strategic decision support. He will continue partnering with leaders across the company to strengthen financial performance and inform key business decisions.

Before joining Assembly Health, Stephenson held finance and investment banking roles with Jefferies and PwC, where he gained experience in financial analysis, transactions and strategic advisory.
Stephenson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
