Become an Assembler! We are looking for a Urology Medical Coding Specialist to join our Physician RCM team. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Director of Coding.

• Code medical procedures or evaluation and management codes per CPT guidelines. Knowledge of urology and radiation oncology coding guidelines a plus.  
• Code diagnosis per ICD 10 CM standards
• Append modifiers when necessary.
• Review CCI for multiple procedures
• Review LMRP and NCD for CPT codes
• Attend department meetings and other general staff meetings.
• Other tasks as needed.

• CPC Certification preferred.
• Basic knowledge of billing and insurance procedures.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds at times.
