Become an Assembler! We are looking for a Nextech Select Medical Coding Specialist to join our Physician RCM team. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Director of Billing and Coding.

• Code surgical procedures or evaluation and management codes per CPT guidelines
• Code diagnosis per ICD 10 CM standards
• Link CPT and ICD 10 codes when appropriate for posters
• Append modifiers when necessary
• Review CCI for multiple procedures
• Review LMRP and NCD for CPT codes
• Work denials and aged claims
• Attend department meetings and other general staff meetings
• Other tasks as needed

• CPC Certification
• Basic knowledge of billing and insurance procedures
• Experience using Nextech Select EMR software.
• Ability to use MicroMD software
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds at times
