This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to our Crediting Manager. This position is onsite in our Wareham, MA office and we are looking to fill two openings.

What you'll do

  • Assist with activities in the Crediting Dept with the direction of the Crediting Manager.
  • Understand and interpret EOBs
  • Post ERA files in NextGen.
  • Remote deposit scanning.
  • Work with clients that request remote deposit and scanner set ups.
  • Process refunds in NextGen.
  • Post System A Self Pays.
  • Post NextGen Self Pays.
  • Post Data Media credit Card payments files.
  • Scan payment batches to offshore team and respond to clarifications.
  • Respond to credit card disputes.
  • Process and post credit card prepayments for Cosmetic procedures.
  • Admin for DMA and add new users and merchants.
  • Send new client application from DMA for credit card merchant account set up.
  • Work and respond to email inquiries regarding payment posting.
  • Work with confirming some bank account deposits to coordinate ERA import.
  • Assist in resolution of insurance overpayments in System A.
  • Review and resolve patient proof of payments.
  • Sort and open mail.
  • Forward items to lockboxes or other locations.
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned.
